How Referrals Work
What happens between “Send Septic Service Request” and a provider in your driveway.
Step 1 — You describe the property and problem
The request form collects the property location, the service needed, current symptoms, whether sewage is actively backing up, what you know about the tank, and how to reach you. Better detail produces better matches — a request that says “tank behind the barn, lids buried, last pumped unknown” tells a provider far more than “need pumping.”
Step 2 — The request is reviewed
Submitted information is reviewed to determine what kind of local provider fits: a pumping truck for routine service, repair capability for failures and alarms, installation capability for new systems, or inspection service for transactions. Urgent flags are noted.
Step 3 — A provider may contact you
Where coverage and availability fit, the request may be shared with an independent local septic provider, who may contact you to discuss access, availability, inspection needs, scheduling and possible next steps. Submission does not guarantee a match, a response time, or service.
Step 4 — The provider runs the engagement
From first contact onward, the relationship is between you and the provider. The provider independently determines pricing, qualifications, availability, scope, warranties and service terms. Cumberland Septic Hub is not a party to that engagement and does not set, collect or guarantee any of its terms.
The disclosure, in full
Cumberland Septic Hub is an independent referral service that helps connect property owners with local septic service providers. Cumberland Septic Hub does not directly perform septic work unless expressly stated. Provider availability, qualifications, licensing, insurance, inspections, pricing, scheduling and service terms are determined independently by the provider.
See also the referral disclosure and privacy policy for how submitted information is handled.
